The Dalet class expands their study of Hebrew prayers by including Friday night prayers and delving deeper into the meaning of prayers recited on Shabbat morning. They also study Biblical History beginning with the prophets and the Kings of Israel. This class works on prayers in music along with learning songs in Hebrew. Students in this class are also invited to join the School Chorus that performs at a regional Zimriyah (song festival) in the spring. Their work in the Library includes research into Biblical figures as they study them in class and Jewish legends and folklore. Life Cycle events, from Bris/Baby naming to Bar/Bat Mitzvah to Weddings and on to funerals/shiva rituals, are introduced.
